Arkansas Flooded Timber Hunts
Hunting in flooded or green timber in Arkansas is a dream for many duck hunters around the world. Duckwerks offers a variety of hunting opportunities in these picturesque settings. Our hunts primarily take place in several locations near the lodge, where wood ducks tend to land at first light. As the excitement of the wood duck hunting slows down, mallards start to filter in, providing hunters with a unique experience in the beautiful green timber of Arkansas. Most of our locations have blinds, but there are many instances where "hugging a tree" serves as our concealment for the morning. We offer at least one day of timber hunting with all of our three-day packages, and in some cases, hunters have the chance to experience multiple mornings in the timber with us.

The Arkansas spring snow goose conservation season is renowned for its consistent hunting success. This season typically begins in early February and runs through March 15. During this time, millions of snow geese migrate along the Mississippi Flyway, heading north toward Canada. Corning, Arkansas, is situated directly along this migration path, making it an ideal spot for hunting geese that stop to feed in some of the state's most impressive agricultural fields. During the season, we utilize electronic callers, no-plug shotguns, and extensive decoy spreads to maximize our chances of success. All of our Arkansas hunts take place on some of the most prestigious private properties, ensuring that our customers have the best opportunity for a successful outing. It is common for each blind to shoot through multiple cases of Migra Shells, which we provide in an unlimited quantity as part of your package for you to enjoy.

Like most of us, I've done some interesting things in my time. But, like most of us, I've also missed out on many of life's grandest experiences-those activities seemingly reserved for the very gifted, the very fortunate, or the very wealthy. I've never pitched a shutout in Yankee Stadium. I've never taken the checkered flag at Daytona. I've never climbed Everest....
But when it comes to waterfowling, I can proudly say that I've played in the big leagues, reached the apex of the sport, and rubbed shoulders with the best in the business . . . because I've hunted mallards in Arkansas.
